In Google’s quest to add functionality to Google Wallet, they product managers announced plans for I.D. verification services. Google Wallet currently lets users download electronic versions of various debit/credit cards plus loyalty cards/coupons and tickets. So it only makes sense that they want to included an electronic version of your drivers license. The question we have is who bears the liability when a merchant accepts this ID while serving age sensitive products?
