Product Description
The M500 extracts and authenticates the hidden security features of any driver license or ID card and reads and decodes barcodes and magnetic stripes. With the card inserted into the M500, both sides of the card are simultaneously captured by the high-resolution imager.
In a single pass, the barcode and magnetic stripe data can be captured, as well as high resolution digital images of both sides of the card (including color/RGB, UV and IR images). The entire process of scanning the card and transferring the captured data and images to a separate processor for collection and analysis takes only about 4-5 seconds in total. All of this information is then processed to verify that the submitted card is indeed authentic.
The M500 is useful in a wide variety of applications and is ideal for Governments, ID Authentication, Airports, Age Verification, Casinos & Gaming, Bar & Night Club Access Control, and Account Setup.
