Ontario Redesigns Driver’s License Cards to Prevent Fraud & Identity Theft

Last updated 12 years ago, the industry standard for driver license designs is 5 to 7 years, according to Transportation Minister Jeff Yurek. This is to help fight against fraud and identity theft. Currently, the card is a mix of green and blue but the new design will be mostly blue and white with the province’s redesign trillium logo. The Ontario government says the card will be launch this fall.
