Alberta’s new driver’s licence and ID cards integrate new design and security features that make the cards harder to alter or replicate. The new cards are the first in North America to integrate a combination of design and enhanced security. The new design depicts several Alberta related images, including an Albertosaurus, the dinosaur named after Alberta, where its remains were first discovered. Some of the the numerous enhanced security features can be verified through a look-listen-feel” approach.
