The Thales (formerly Gemalto and 3M) QS2000 Document Reader can quickly and reliably read the MRZ on any passport and the 2D barcodes on US, Canadian, and other ID cards. It can also capture an image of any identification document.

The QS2000 is useful in a wide variety of commercial applications, including, but not limited to hotels, casinos, liquor stores, bars, and car dealer & rental companies.
