The Thales (formerly Gemalto and 3M) QS1000 Document Reader can quickly and reliably read the MRZ on any passport and the 2D barcodes on US, Canadian, and other ID cards. It can also capture an image of any identification document.
The QS1000 is useful in a wide variety of commercial applications, including, but not limited to hotels, casinos, liquor stores, bars, and car dealer & rental companies.
Includes the standalone QS1000 scanner only – does not include software or drivers
