New Feature for IDWedgePro – Portrait Image Extraction

We’re happy to announce that the latest version (1.0.3.1) of IDWedgePro now features portrait image extraction when scanning the ID. Now when creating a profile for a customer, you can save a cropped image of the face printed on the ID card, as well as the form filled data.

To access this new feature, simply the Configuration screen on IDWedgePro.

Alongside portrait image extraction, there are several bug fixes and changes including:

• Remove / Reconnect cable (serial and image) – app will not crash if scanners are disconnected
• Autostart script copies shortcut to start up folder – Run as Admin to enable auto start mode
• Added country code to WCF fields and Main form
• A new in-app help manual describes how to install certificates into FireFox, Chrome, IE11 when using WCF in SSL mode
