1. Payment Terms

Payment Processing

  • Payment is charged immediately upon order placement
  • All prices listed and charged in USD
  • Prices subject to change without notice
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors
  • Sales tax calculated at checkout based on shipping address
  • Orders may be cancelled after 3 unsuccessful payment attempts
  • All transactions are processed through our secure, encrypted checkout system

2. Shipping & Delivery

Order Processing

  • Orders ship within 1-2 business days after payment received
  • Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST ship same day

Shipping Options

  • Standard Shipping (FREE): 3-5 business days
  • Overnight Shipping: Available at checkout (calculated by weight and destination)
    • Must order before 12:00 PM EST for same-day shipping

Shipping Information

  • Carriers: UPS or FedEx
  • Tracking: Emailed once order ships
  • International Orders: Not available online – contact us directly
  • Damaged Shipments: Report within 7 days for claim eligibility

 

3. Returns & Refunds

30-Day Return Policy

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact support@tokenworks.com within 30 days of delivery
  2. Request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number
  3. Ship items back with RMA number included

Return Guidelines

  • Customer pays return shipping (unless defective/error)
  • Refunds processed within 5-7 business days of receipt
  • Refunds credited to original payment method
  • Exchanges only available for defective products

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom orders
  • Opened software
  • Items returned without RMA number

 

4. Warranty Information

Standard Coverage

  • All scanners include 1-year limited manufacturer warranty
  • Covers defects in materials and workmanship

Not Covered:

  • Physical damage, misuse, or neglect
  • Tampering or unauthorized modifications
  • Normal wear and tear

Warranty Service

  • Contact support@tokenworks.com with proof of purchase
  • Customer pays shipping for warranty service
  • Extended warranties may be available

 

5. Limitation of Liability

Important Legal Notice: ID scanners must be used in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Buyer assumes full responsibility for legal compliance.

Product Disclaimer

  • Products are sold “as-is” where permitted by law
  • No warranty of fitness for any particular purpose beyond manufacturer specifications
  • User assumes all risks associated with ID scanning activities including:
    • Compliance with privacy and data protection laws
    • Proper data handling and storage
    • Age verification accuracy
    • Prevention of discriminatory practices
    • Technical integration with other systems

Buyer Acknowledges:

  • ID scanning laws vary significantly by jurisdiction
  • Legal requirements may change without notice
  • Scanner accuracy depends on proper use and maintenance
  • TokenWorks provides tools, not legal advice

TokenWorks, Inc. is not liable for:

  • Regulatory fines or penalties
  • Privacy law violations
  • Data breaches or security incidents
  • Failure to detect fraudulent IDs
  • Improper or unlawful use
  • Business losses or interruptions
  • Claims arising from data collection or use
  • Indirect, special, or consequential damages

Our maximum liability is limited to the product purchase price. By purchasing, customers agree to indemnify TokenWorks, Inc. from any claims arising from product misuse.

 

6. Dispute Resolution

Resolution Process

  1. Contact our customer service team first
  2. We respond within 2 business days
  3. Unresolved disputes subject to laws of New York State
  4. Legal proceedings in Westchester County, New York
  5. Each party responsible for own legal costs

  • ID Scanning Laws: Vary by state – verify before use
  • Data Protection: Buyer must properly secure scanned data
  • Export Control: Subject to U.S. export laws

  • Illegal discrimination

  • Privacy violations
  • Any unlawful activity

Buyers must comply with all industry-specific regulations and standards.
