Affirmative Defense Laws for ID Scanners

As of January 2010, there are 10 states which have affirmative defense provisions which protect a merchant when against an serving a minor infraction when using an ID Scanner.

The states are

  1. Oregon
  2. Connecticut
  3. Arizona
  4. Utah
  5. Texas
  6. Ohio
  7. West Virginia
  8. North Carolina
  9. New York
  10. Pennsylvania
